Gas Measurement

Natural gas measurement is the process of determining the quantity of natural gas in a given volume. It is an important part of the oil and gas industry, as it allows companies to accurately assess reserves, calculate production costs, and determine the value of their products.

There are several different methods of natural gas measurement, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The most common method is known as volumetric measurement, which uses a device called a meter to measure the volume of gas flowing through a pipeline.

Other methods include gravimetric measurement, which measures the weight of the gas, and calorimetric measurement, which measures the heat content of the gas.

Natural gas measurement is an essential part of the oil and gas industry, and its accuracy can have a significant impact on a company’s bottom line.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

We are a team of highly skilled professionals who offer natural gas measurement services. We can help you perform monthly calibrations, meter repairs and installations as well as provide third-party witnessing for any installation or repair work that needs to be done on your meters!

Additionally, we collect sample data from each customer’s API application so they may monitor their usage in real-time; this way it is easier than ever before to know when less fuel will suffice versus more costly options like LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas).

Our measurements include temperature correction factors (for given pressure), collection/installation – including removal if needed – of flow sensors along with their data, and the installation of custody transfer-qualified meters for the natural gas industry.

We pride ourselves on being the company that can offer these expert services all while being able to keep our customers’ best interests in mind – that is what sets us apart from the rest!

The AOF Industries leadership team has a wide range of knowledge and experience with various industrial knowledge and skill sets in the field of natural gas measurements.

With a combined background of experience spanning more than a quarter of a century, we’re confident in our ability to provide service and support for your current field deployments, as well as direction and solutions for any of your future needs.

GAS MEASUREMENT: TOOLS OF THE TRADE

In the natural gas measurement process, there are three different types of pressures that need to be recorded: differential pressure (the difference between atmospheric and rock basement), static-pressure readings taken at certain intervals throughout a day while measuring temperature differences across these points; and AGA calculations which take all this information into account when estimating how much fuel might exist within our plays.

The industry standard for accurate and reliable measurement has been the dry flow meter, which uses a chart to record changes in pressure. The 12″ wide- CALIBRATED charts make it even under extreme variations of static or ambient temperature! AOF Industries is equipped with experienced technicians who can maintain your needs in this area when you need it most.

The oil and gas industry is quickly becoming more efficient with the use of electronic devices like EFM. The meters allow for easy monitoring on a daily basis, which has made this technology standard in today’s business world where safety comes first! AOF Industries maintains over 20,000 units per year across all types – ensuring our customers’ needs will always be met by them.
